Bathroom Vanity

This bathroom needed a major renovation. Over 20 years ago, a water line to a washer machine broke and caused a flood inside this basement. This caused major mold and interior walls to become eroded over time. This bathroom was not originally supposed to receive such a drastic renovation but once I started tearing away the sheetrock, it was clear the major issues hiding behind the walls of this sad little bathroom. The original entry way door to this bathroom was right where the new vanity begins but we decided to close up that door and move the entry further into the basement to also allow the hallway to become a space of its own. We added a pocket door to this bathroom to save space as well. My brother handled all the plumbing to this bathroom. I installed the vanity, the wall tiles, the mirror and the lights. The trim in this bathroom is unfinished. My basement is still undone and will be finished this winter time where I will be finishing up the trim in this bathroom as well. It brings me joy to have a completely redone bathroom in my home especially for when I have friends or family over allowing them to have their own privacy and space to settle in and feel comfortable.
